They sell a expansion pack for the game that is cheaper than buy the DLC one at a time. They do that for a lot of games now.

I feel like this may turn into a "we shouldn't have to pay for DLC" argument really soon.
I'm not sure why it became a common trend to complain about paying for DLC, but it's kinda annoying.
Companies have to make money to keep the lights on and keep improving the game.
DLC is how they continue their work after the initial release of a game.
You don't need the extra content to play the game. You are more than capable of doing so.

That is the reason that I do not buy DLC. There is already updates and code for the new map packs or weapons or whatever it is when they release it, but they want you to pay the $5 for preorder or purchase the DLC to be able to use the new stuff. It's dumb. The only time I ever pay for DLC is on my PC when I can use G2A and get shit dirt cheap.

Everyone who bought Destiny and wants to keep up on DLC are gonna be hemorrhaging money. If they want to keep it alive for 10 years you can sure as hell bet there will be a metric **** ton of DLC.

No not at all DLC is all fine and good IF the game wasn't lacking content. Destiny is basically nothing without having any of the DLC there is 4 or 5 strikes, a lackluster storyline, pvp, and one raid.

Oblivion (shivering isles only), Skyrim, The Witcher 3 (coming soon), are very good examples of how to handle paid DLC, a complete vanilla base game with good DLC.

Destiny was meant to be 10 year game !

I loved destiny till the first DLC came out.

Destiny has little to no longevity, when raids was announced before the game came out it sounded like they was massive open world adventures that take any where from 10 hours to a couple of days to complete as group.

Destiny was rather disappointing to think about it.

Don't get me wrong, the game is cool and before the first DLC came out it was cool. But after you finished all your missions, you needed the DLC. The game is just a waste of my time and money now..
