When your gaming, do you prefer one or two monitors?

Used to have 3, then realised how good a single monitor is. So now i have one..

One big one.

2 is good for streaming n such, no use for me though.

Once you start using two monitors you never want to go back to one monitor, unless desk space is an issue. I got so used to dual monitors at home that I personally bought an adapter to have dual monitors at work.

3 monitor master race!

I used to have a single monitor, it was fine. I was happy with it.

When I bought a second monitor for multitasking with work, I found out just how much easier it is to keep track of things and how much I had increased my productivity.

I have since moved up to 3 monitors which I would say is a nice level to be at.

I have my central monitor for my main program focus, left monitor for additional work followed by my third, right, monitor that I keep all my communication/social things on (skype, teamspeak, mumble, etc.)

I would say that 2 monitors are essential, I could live without a third.
I do love using nvidia surround and having a game span across all 3 displays. I found this particularly awesome when playing driving games.

I've been using two monitors for the last year and a half or so. During the move I lost a screw that holds the mount to the monitor itself, and I almost broke down and cried. (I found it in a plastic baggy luckily.)

But the reason I prefer two monitors is it's just so much easier to multi-task like keeping an eye on something when you're trying to get other stuff done, etc.
