Well, nobody knows what lurks in the darkness and that is what is so scary about it.

An even scarier thing could be that all those feelings of being watched or followed... the breaths on the back of your neck then you turn around and there isn't anything behind you, there was always something there it just didn't want you to know it existed.

but.. what if you did happen to see one of these creatures, something that lurks... in the dark. Perhaps a being that founds nightmares.

Something tells me if you did see one, you wouldn't be able to tell anyone, because you may no longer have that ability.

It might just be your mind playing tricks on you. Sometimes, we see unexpected stuff on our peripheral view. Try to ignore it the next time you see it.
