So about two years ago I gave up on finding my size in stores, but today I go to order shoes for school and I cant find any size 16! I finally found a pair, and I like them, but it took FOREVER. I am so sick and tired of these companys not stocking large shoes. I know I am not the only one. Anyone else have this trouble?

BTW I got these if anyone is looking for a lightweight size 16 haha.

I think after size 12.5 or 13 they don't carry them in stores due to not many people having that large of a foot...

Its not common? REALLY? Because theres a HUGE percentage of athletes with huge feet. I shouldnt have to special order it. Why should I have to pay a premium and wait a month for a damn pair of shoes that someone else can walk into a store and get $50 cheaper than me. And not only that but stopping at size 13 for shoes is ABSURD. Thats not even large. Most of my friends where 14 and up. Obviously the brits all have small feet. America has plenty of people with big feet.

I can understand the stores thing a bit. But even if the store got 5 pairs of the best selling shoes in a larger size, they would get sold. But to not find them online pisses me off.

It is all low demand low priority. If the shoe size is in low demand, for example not being bought online nor people coming in store to ask, they will put the shoe size on back order from the storage unit. If you go in and ask them to get a certain shoe in size 16 they will either say they don't have any due to low priority, or they will say sure, we will have a pair brought in the next day etc...

What the hell are you even on about? How have all British people obviously got small feet?

Stores don't want to stock up on larger sized shoes due to not being able to sell them as quickly as the average sizes. It's all money, they really don't care about you or your big feet. Have fun continuing to special order them.

I too have large feet but it isn't an issue. Stores around me stock up to Size 15 and I wear a 14 so it isn't an issue. But i'm 99% sure most people don't have a size 16 foot.

Nope not really, I'm British and I have the shoe size of 12, that's not really a small shoe size.

You know what they say about large shoe sizes? Anyways moving on from that point, If I was you and in that state that I couldn't find any shoe sizes that exist I would do something about it but in your term you really can't do anything. Can I ask how tall are you to have shoe size "16"

6'5

And 12 really isnt that big haha.

12 is big. You are just used to having abnormally large feet. 16 is not average or normal in any way.
