Try making a channel trailer and promoting that trailer video using Google Adsense. it can help put your name out there.

if your content is as good as you make it out to be people will view and sometimes subscribe. then all you have to do is keep uploading and keep your community happy.

Only thing that might be a bad factor is that it costs a little bit of money, but even loose change can get your advert out there. As for me I just got my 3rd ad approved on it with an estimated 5 thousand ad impressions.

The other two times where on old content I did about reviewing games. No longer the case lol

You have been active for a week you cant expect thousands of subs over night, you just have to be consistent looking at uploads before this week your last upload was a month ago and before that 5 months youtube is hard to get noticed on these days unless you're friends with big youtubers try making videos with other youtubers .
