Exactly forget wasting money on a new pair of shoes when you can upgrade a bike, honestly if you tell your mum to ring in it'll be fine, unless he wants to buy the shoes for you, its fine haha ;)

I think the idea of uniforms are stupid and just another strict rule to keep people in line.

It's to get you used to being in a workplace. The whole point of school and work is to be "kept in line".

hahahahaha that should be the next thing to say to him " I'm not getting new shoes if you want to buy me some go for it but if they are less then £50 or $70 I'm not wearing them

Ahaa I Remeber back in school when teachers tried to make me wear school shoes but i refuesed and eventually they just didn't care anymore.

Just say you cant afford new shoes and you have to use these once until you are able to get new ones, (then never get new ones)

I had to draw over a tiny bit of yellow in my shoes with a permanent marker when I was in school also, Its annoying right. I mean come on it was barley visible.
