Since I'm new and still quite unfamiliar with the way things work on here I was wondering what rep gives you the chance to do and how you earn it?

Nothing really it's just something good to have because you earn by helping people out or doing give Aways

You're definitely winning then... I think the higher Rep, the easier it is to see that you do something good on the site so the TTG gods reward you with masses of rep points everywhere

More or less your reputation on the site. its a good thing if you have a lot that means your reputation is strong and your a nice member the higher you go on the site the more reputation you get.

IT doesnt really "do" anything you use it to praise people and thank if they have helped you or something nice, and it looks awesome to have a lot of rep and people like me want lots of rep cause its awesome!
