If it was only a month old you shouldn't of had it. Kittens need to be with their mother up until at least 8 weeks.

0_o My cat is like 3-4 weeks old. And its fine. They don't need there mom that long.

What was the point in your post when everyone has the intelligence to know that 8 weeks is 2 months and also most people say 8 weeks.

Back to topic - sorry for your lose bud such a young age for a cat and I don't see any coincidence as there is only one way you could of known how it died and that's if a vet had a look etc... so you won't really know what caused the death but sorry for your lose.

Animals normally hate loud noises and if its younger the hearing is more sensitive, so you setting of illegal firecrackers (Guessing these where quite loud) could have scared the young cat but doubt its the reason.
