good morning fifa section i want to see if i can spark abit of a discussion relating to the player price ranges do you guys think this has benefited the fifa community and do you think it has pushed fifa for the better? I personally think if you don't rely on coin sellers its nice because players have lost vaule and you can buy players cheaper. Also do you think in regards to fifa 16 they are going to do the same? If they do will this be a good or bad thing. Dont just say you hate it because you can no longer buy coins try to make more of a valid point thanks guys

Well people like to say its bad espically at the start of the game because people dont have money, but from what i remember , People were biding on messi for about 1mil when the game first came out so people are going to have money regardless.

So i like it since it did stop coin selling somewhat and it did drop player prices alot.

Honestly, price ranges are not really necessary. Given the state of the market mid-way through the FUT 15 cycle, I understand why they were implemented.

Logically though, they're not needed. Price ranges are implemented to deal with coin sellers and affiliates who exploit coin glitches to gain massive bulks of coins.

As such, the market inflates exponentially and prices skyrocket.

With price ranges in place, yes this hinders the flow of coins and lowers prices but it has also lead to players going extinct.

The real issue to target is the coin glitches. If they get resolved, market inflation is tackled by EA tax and there becomes no need for price ranges.

Think back to FUT10-FUT12. There were no price ranges yet Ronaldo and Messi were very affordable. Prices will never be quite as low as that given seasons bonuses mean coin generation is increased but if EA can prevent the exploitative bulk production of coins, price ranges become redundant.

I do not really have much knowledge into the fifa economy but surely the reason why messi and ronaldo were affordable back then was maybe to do with less players playing ultimate team i know it was big back then i played it myself but surely in the recent fifas there has been a bigger player base compared to fifa 10? I dont know but i totally agree with you about price ranges I don't really care for coin sellers but i think the price ranges has brought good and bad back into fifa ut

It does play a part in their pricing, yes. More players means more demand and hence higher price but this is somewhat negated by more players also equaling greater supply (through packs).

Regardless, the dominant force in the rising prices by far is coin selling/coin exploits.

I enjoyed the game more when you could buy coins made it a lot easier to get a better team, I don't understand why Fifa it's self doesn't sell coins instead of Fifa points still away for them to profit off of it

That would surprise me very much its EA we are talking about, they cant make alot of money charging people on packs which most of the time doesnt put any coins into the economy and on the odd accassion pay out with decent players but by then across the world alot of money has been spent

Yeah i understand, but in my opinion coin sellers are kind off a good thing aswell because it gives players the opportunity to get there dream players if they are maybe not as good at the game as other people makes it more fair

Every player would have a ridiculous price that is why, what about the people that just want to play the game and not spend extra money? Packs gives an advantage over them as it is but buying coins would ruin the market, as you can see from coin sellers.
