So 2 days ago I was exploring abandoned flooded houses with my friend. (I was there only twice but the first time was months ago) There was black mold in some spots so I didn't stay there Long but I did walk through it. I held my breathe most of the time and was only breathing a little bit. I only stayed in the black mold area for about 5 to ten minutes.When I got home I looked up black mold exposure and what could happen and some of the symptoms. The next day I feel like i have blocked ears and a stuffy nose and sometimes a sore throat. Did I get affected by it? Please help im scared. Its getting a bit worse everyday

Some types of mold are commonly known as mildew.
Mold may live indoors or outdoors and thrives in damp, warm, and humid environments.
Although shower stalls and basements are typical moist areas prone to the growth of molds, any moist area in the household may harbor mold.
Allergic reactions to mold are the most common health effects of mold. Mold allergy symptoms and signs include
wheezing,
rash,
watery eyes,
runny nose,
itchy eyes,
coughing,
redness of the eyes.
The best way to prevent mold in the home is the control of moisture.
There are no EPA or government standards that have been established for mold or mold spore levels, so it is impossible to prove that a building or room is in compliance with any regulations concerning mold exposure.

I'd at least go see your physician and get a check up. He or she will be able to clearly state whether you have managed to get a great exposure to the mold or if it's just a small side effect from the exposure. Exposure to mold of any kind can give you some side effects.

Thanks for the help ill have to schedule an appointment. I hope that it is only a small side effect as of now I only have blocked ears and runny/stuffed nose.
