so i want a new tv, and was looking into the whole 4k tv side but read that for console gaming it wont make that much of a difference? so i was wondering what kind of tv is the best for console gaming?

Well for competitive value monitors are your best bet. You want one with a high refresh rate, low response time, and a decent display. TVs work but they generally have higher response times and low refresh rates. However if you are just playing for fun and want a nice display TVs can be quite rewarding.

To give you a good answer I would like to know what kind of TV you typically use for gaming. Going from a regular HD TV to a LED TV could be really annoying for you. It was for me in the beginning.

Monitors are the best Asus,Benq,and Dell have great monitors. Maybe a vizio or Sony TV would be good.

It depends really for the best experience gaming an IPS monitor would be the one to get.
