Who else remembers zombies 7 years ago, during world at war? I remember owning a Wii and playing WaW on that and found out the PS3 and X360 versions had zombies and the Wii didn't. So I made it my mission to get a X360 and the first thing I purchased was WaW. Natcht Der Untoten was the only map available at the time and I thought it was the best. Then Verruckt was released, which was when zombies started becoming big. Shi No Numa was when zombies really started running away. That's also when people started theorizing a story behind the back lore of zombies. People would try to piece together small details to try and create some type of story. Once Der Riese was released, it was a done deal with Treyarch and the Zombie community. The WaW activision forums were popping with threads about every type of idea; the secret stair case, the easter egg, the back story, the furnace, the garage door, etc. I believe that's when zombies was at it's prime. It seems to me that no one seems hype for it like everyone was back then. The Tech Game would be loaded with theories about the new maps. If anyone played zombies since Day 1 like I did, do you understand where I am coming from?

It will always be the best, but it just seems no one is hype anymore for zombies.

Nacht Der Untoten will always be the best, sitting in the corner upstairs with a Trench gun whilst a teammate would watch the window.. :') that's back when Zombies was actually quite scary, damn.. That was the first game I bought on my Xbox and the my first year of Xbox Live.. Crazy to think how far we've come!

That was also my first year on live too. I understand what you mean when you say "quite scary" as you were stuck in the corner and had no where to go which gave you the chills when the situation began getting tough.

Yes it has, although once you've made a handful of games about WW2 you can't really come up with any more ideas of what to do.
