on my ps4 i can login to my account and my friends list loads but after 1-2 mins it won't load or anything but i can still play my game what should i do re-install the software update??

This happens me from time to time, simply just wait a bit longer or restart your ps4 and the friends should load.

I usually go to then area where you can invite friends from in game then go to the friends are from the menu on the ps4 and then they usually load for me.
