So I am making a custom pc. I have a $2,000 budget. I would like to run games such as Counterstrike: Global Offensive, H1Z1, Warframe, GTA 5, and more new upcoming games. So I would like the help of someone to help me find the right parts to build this PC. I don't know much about building a PC just that I need a good CPU, GPU, PSU, etc. I dont wanna make an almighty god PC though just something to run future games and current games. thats with most of the extra/peripherals you had listed. You can add a sound card, but it is really not necessary. Your case you selected does not have room for a optical drive, so you can install your OS like i did wheere you just hook it up and install the os with the drive just sitting there and when your done you can unplug it.

You don't need an optical drive to install OS. Use a USB, it's faster anyway.

OP-If you're willing to get the rebate for the mobo, it's only $60-$70(depending where you buy) so I'd do that if I were you. Oh, and ask the vendor you purchase the board from to update the BIOS for you so that it is compatible with the CPU. Absolutely no need for an i7 or 16GB RAM.

You can get this monitor instead if you want to save some money;

It's not as good as the Dell panel but it's a steal, and still better than the monitor in your original parts list.
