He had 38 appearances last season in all competitions , no idea what you've been reading lol. He is a good player, but still inconsistent as hell. I can name a few striker in the league who hasn't been inconsistent like Benteke. Aguero, Rooney (When he plays ST), Costa, Austin, Kane etc.

Pretty sure it was £20 million for him, and if you compare his PL stats to Cahill and Terry it shows why they bidded that much for him. It helps being English and young also, so its not really worth saying 'lol' to that but it is worth saying that about Benteke.

I never said he was worth £26 million...he never even got a bid of £26 million. People don't seem to understand why English players are expensive lol.

You need a certain amount of English players in a squad, and lets be honest most players are crap compared to foreign players that you can buy so any half decent English player will cost a lot and with the rule coming in a couple of years with how many grown players you must have, the prices of English players will blow through the roof. This is the reason why they cost a lot, and Sterling has shown potential of being a good player, and being English, young is the reason why they had to pay the big sum.

I'm talking about his league stats, because chances are he won't play in cups for Liverpool... But for your information I got my stats from Sky Sports.

For your consistent strikers though, I would 100% agree with them. Other than Austin, do you really think you could get any of them players cheap? No. If we bought Benteke in a season's time, it probably wouldn't cost us £32.5million. However we need to abide his buyout clause, and unfortunately for us that's what it is! But we need a proven goalscorer and I feel that Benteke could do well at Liverpool.

Chelsea had a £20million bid rejected, and are apparently about to up their bid to £26million. If you fully read what I said you would have seen that. Stones is no where near worth £26million, he's had 1 season in the BPL and you seriously think he's worth that much? Woah...

Benteke has played 29 games in the PL last season lol. Sky Sports looked at his last 13 games, my point is proven on how inconsistent he is.

John Stones is english, and is good hence why he has that price tag. Get over the fact English players are expensive and always will be. You need them in your squad, and any decent English players will cost money.
