Current: i7 4770k
Nvidia GTX 750 Ti 2GB
8gb 1600 RAM
1tb HDD
some motherboard i bought (~100$)

It seems to me like it's not living up to what I thought it would be. What would be the best upgrade to make it run faster and stronger? I'm thinking some more RAM, but my friends say a complete new graphics card.

750Ti runs GTAV 60fps, medium/high at 1080p, I don't know how you can consider that 'no gtav'...

Then you're doing something wrong, mine runs absolutely fine at 60fps (obviously some drops when driving very fast). Are you running some of the high end settings or something?

250$ tops. It'll tkae me a few weeks to even save up for that.

I'm thinking crossfire a 970 if I can crossfire GTX Cards. If not, probably just buy a 970.

....also how did you know my upgrade question stems from GTA V problems...

You can't crossfire NVidia cards. You can only SLI them. Your motherboard may support one or the other or both. Also, if you want a cheaper alternative go on ebay and buy a used 780 ti. It performs the same, if not better than a 970 for generally cheaper.

300$ How about a 960, how does that compare to a 750 ti?

S_q_u_i_r_t wrote Well getting a cheaper card will cost you more in the long run. Get a card like 980ti you wont have to upgrade for a while longer.

Well all my friends who had built PCs said a 750ti was just fine, but I guess I shouldn't listen to them
