In this guide I will be going over the basics on how to torrenting + port-forwarding:

1:Getting Started
-First you need some applications. The 1st thing you want to get is uTorrent: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . The installation process should be pretty simple. After you have got it open it. Go to Options > Preferences and set your settings like I have mine ; you can leave the port as it is. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

2:Finding A Good Torrent
-Now You need to find a Good Torrent. The best site, I think, for torrents is thetechgame.org. Go there and type in whatever you want in the search bar; then hit Pirate Search. Once the results come up you are not yet done. To find a decent Torrent you must find one with a good amount of seeds. You can do this by pushing the "SE" button.

Now it should refresh. Click the top one and it should relate to what you typed in. If it doesn't than go back and try the second, rinse & repeat. Once you have found a good one download it.

After the Download is finished look in the folder it came in and depending on what it is you might have to install a patch, crack or etc. Now you are done!

Extra:Port-Fowarding

-If you are experiencing extremely slow DL's even when there are alot of seeders or if the DL wont start you might have to Port-Foward. To do this first open CMD. Type In ipconfig. Look for your ip adress and remember it or copy it down somewhere. After this go into your browser and go type in 192.168.1.1. It should ask you for a password; if you have never been on this before the password should be admin with a blank username. After you get on go to "Applications and Gaming" at the top. Now, go back to uTorrent and go back to Options > Preferences. Check your port number; copy it down

Now go back to the browser and type it in like this. Ignore the lines please ;)

Now hit save settings and your done. Happy Torrenting!!!

You might have done it wrong then, you can try it again if you want but if you can't get it to work just disable it if you want
