Known about this for a while. AM4 socket with DDR4 support. Zen architecture. Hopefully, it'll be good. I'd like to switch up to a nice AMD CPU with DDR4 RAM if they compete well with Cannonlake which should be releasing around the same time. AMD haven't released any competitive "gaming" CPUs in 2 years, they've just been focusing on their FM2+ socket, which sucks for users with higher budgets.
