This rant is kinda a example of why I really don't get people.

Reviews said the product is bad.
*buys the product*

Your comment is an example of why I don't get people, have you not been reading what I said? Anything that has reviews is going to have some form of a bad review, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't buy it, because it's only a small chance of the thing happening to you. 3 reviews out of 147 said it was bad. That is no reason not to buy a product.

negative reviews on amazon are there for you to read and decide if that problem will effect you and well it did right? just take it back get a refund and move on.

or maybe go to the PC section where a select few people with knowledge in this subject will help you make a good decision.

My story did not change at all, it's the same as it was. I ordered it and while downloading a game it crashes and the problem that happened to me was the same that happened to 3 other people out of the 147 who bought it (not counting people that didn't even write reviews). Now I'm saying how can they sell the product, even though they probably get multiple reports of this single laptop model crashing.

The "reports of the same laptop crashing online" is the people on Amazon that it has crashed for. 3 people have had their laptop crash which resulted in the same problem as me. I changed my story to be more detailed, I'm saying where I got the information from and specifically how many people it crashed for.

Disguise wrote How can you and prohibit even say that this is my fault? It has THREE BAD REVIEWS. Anybody would have bought it, this is not my fault. I can't just "decide" if the problem will effect me, asus needs to have their products TESTED before being sent out. I've looked at threads online and anybody and everybody who has had this problem has had to send it back, cause this has happened to multiple kinds of laptops. I called asus themselves and they even said I would have to send it back after their attempts to tell me how to fix it failed. You can't let 3 bad apples effect your decision on what to buy, because if you look at reviews on ANY laptop it's going to have problems. This is the rant forum, I can rant and then move on if I'd like. I'm sure that anybody who orders a 4/5 star laptop and find that it breaks down would like to vent out.

Products are tested but there are tolerances it's happens just get a refund and move on also amazon reviews don't get reflected to asus unless they are looking for them they are for the customers, just get a refund and move on.

By your logic, apparently nobody can rant about an item that has a bad review, whether it be a single bad review out of 1000 good reviews. My point is that it's such a rare occurrence that people would still buy it, if you order an item that doesn't work, but somebody orders the exact same item and it works PERFECTLY, then the person with the item that doesn't work would be furious.

My defense is that you said "My rant is how can they sell these shitty laptops when there are reviews of the same laptop online crashing by multiple people?" and after I mentioned it in my post you changed your story to only 3 bad reviews out of like 157. I can't read minds unfortunately, so sorry about that.

Do some research before you buy a laptop & not just look at reviews from there site or what not, look on youtube or even come on here and get peoples opinions. But fair enough you did pay over 1000 for a laptop and it broke, that is pretty shitty but send it back. I have like a 5-6 year old laptop that im using RIGHT now & always have, cost me like 400, ACER, and it still works great.

Actually in my thread Forums/t=7188099/is-this-a-good-laptop.html I even did a double check to make sure if it was an okay laptop, and the last two guys who commented said it was good, in a way.

I said in a previous statement that I only got a laptop because of college, otherwise I would've got a pc.

My bad, but tbh with that money you could get a beast PC for half of the money you spent and other additional equipment . Would never waste over 1000 on a laptop.
