ChrisWeir wrote You can't legitimately get windows mate for free which I'm sure is what he'll need. In relation to OP i think this build is relatively good for the price. I personally recommend getting pre-built PCs if you're not sure on what you're doing. It's easy to build a PC. But to troubleshoot and repair it isn't... and if something breaks most PC builder's have their own warranty rather than having to deal with suppliers themselves with the parts that you got.

That's not true. Linux is a free OS, is Linux illegitimate? You can easily get Windows for free, or much cheaper than retail, elsewhere. £100/$100+ is a ridiculous amount to pay for an OS, especially when OP has such a low budget and his money is better spent on components. Troubleshooting is not a hard thing to do, and good thing with what I suggested, there's no way he'll have to "repair" or replace it as quickly as that shitty pre-built.

Don't recommend pre-builts to people. This is the PC Building section. Don't recommend pre-builts to anyone anyway, regardless of what section you're in or if it's IRL. The amount of components that actually arrive faulty or DOA, is very minuscule. I'm pretty sure it's like 1% or less. Also, if a pre-built arrives broken, it's going to be much, much harder to send an entire shitty PC back and have it completely replaced, than sending away maybe one component and having a working one at your door 2/3 days later. Just because the pre-built is cheap, does not mean it's good. You clearly don't know what you're talking about.

ChrisWeir wrote And if your windows 7 is genuine then you've purchased or been given a key or cracked it. It's easy to download tools to make windows think it's genuine mate..

Well, that's awkward, because you just said this;

Thus meaning it's not legitimate also he said you can't possible get Windows for free, not linux. All i'm trying to say is before you try to trash someone look a little closer.
