I hate people who record fights, with a passion.

Those are two human beings who are hurting each other and your first reaction isn't to call the police, or call for help, isn't to try and break them up or restrain one of them, but is to pull out your phone, start recording and screaming, 'World Star!' at the top of your voice like it's some kind of game.

Human bodies aren't indestructible, we have major weaknesses and one stray punch in the wrong place can ruin someone's life.

If you are so mind-numbingly thick that you can't sort out a problem with someone without resorting to punching them in the face then you deserve everything you get back.

Maybe my standards are just too high, but I'm dumbfounded that we still live in societies where people conduct themselves in these ways.

Don't get me wrong, if someone punches you then you have every right to defend yourself, but if everyone simply aimed to never throw the first punch in a fight through their entire lives the world would be a much better place.
If you have exhausted every avenue of discussion with someone and are still getting nowhere, be the bigger person and walk away.
