So here I am talking about phones in general, I will ask a few questions.

What phone do you have? How long have you owned it? Has the battery life changed since you bought it? If so how much?

Because I bought this iPhone 5s May 2014 and basically when I put it on charge it seems to reach 100 in about 1 hour? Is this normal? I can't really replace parts on iPhones that easily because Apple are money whores like Mircrosoft.

Does the battery life differ significantly from new to old?

My iPhone 5 battery has always sucked eggs.

I have to charge it 3 times a day...

I remember when i had a phone with battery i would just go in the store that i got the phone from and ask them to switch for a new battery so my phone would not die fast.

When I first got my phone about two years ago, it would take a while to charge but the battery would last awhile. After jailbreaking it about a year ago, it has been the opposite. It charges lightning quick but the battery seems to last no time at all.

I use a htc desire 610 and the battery is good, facebook drains it but youtube doesnt but i had that problem with my old phone.

I have an iPhone 4s and the battery is awful usually only lasts like 2 maybe 3 hours max

Thinking its time for a new battery tbh

Well My Phone battery dies quite quick but i usually have a usb and always on a computer so its plugged it through out the day anyway :/

Does overcharging exist? Will that have an impact on it?

Think it might do , think it degrades the battery.

I got a note 2 and I charge it one time and its good for a day and a half
