What is your budget?
What is it for?
What currency are you using?

Its mostly for playing games on steam i currently have a laptop but it is terrible for gaming. Most of the good computers ive seen are about 1k USD but my budget would probably be below that.

You should definitely build one. You should post in the PC building forum with your:

Budget
What other than a computer do you need? (mouse, keyboard, monitor, speakers, etc).
And what you are looking to do with it.

People will help you out there

AlienWares are way overpriced, you will end up paying like $200 extra for just the brand name, if not more. Building one is definitely the way to go.

Are you willing to build your own PC (it's easy) if so..
What is your budget and currency?
Do you need peripherals? (mouse, keyboard, monitor)
What will you be using the PC for?

Once you reply with all that then we can help you with a build.

OP was asking for a affordable PC, not some shit from a building website that is ludicrously expensive. Please don't recommend crap like that here.
