Hello, I usually never like posting this shit bc im pretty insecure, but **** it , im 6'5 17 and 290 LBs, i am trying to lose around 60 before the summer ends. I run 2 miles a day and i have tried eating healthier (even tho having an obese family its hard to get them to buy food thats not fattening) Ive gone on 5 day juice fasts and was thinkinh about going on a watermelon only fast. I just always lose motivation to run and workout, i hate going to the gym bc i hate working out infront of people, i feel like im being judged so i just run around my neighborhood, If anyboyd in the TTG community has lost a significant amount of weight please tell me some tips. Thanks guys.

You're doing good, how long have you been doing this? Because if its just like one week then you wont see much change yet, maybe if you dont like working out in front of people, red riding hood (a user on here) said get a tyre or a tractor tyre and do tyre work outs, this trains your abs, biceps and lower back muscles. If you lose motivation to do it then maybe you don't want to lose weight as much as you say you do.

Eat three meals a day, make sure they're healthy and balanced. Do regular exercise. Keeping those things and making sure you stick to them, eventually you should start to see some changes.

Also try getting some gym equipment in your house, weights, cycle machine or maybe a tread mill. That way you can exercise regardless of who's around.

Also try setting goals, but make sure they're realistic, so 3 or 4 pounds a week. That way you'll see a difference and it'll give you something to aim for every week.

I know alot of people who do things like 'only watermelon diets' ect ect..

That just seams unhealthy to me?

You can still eat and be on a diet as long as its a healthy diet and not always fatty foods ect..

I understand the gym thing, Running is a good way to lose weight but everyone is a gym often or not feels that way. You will not be only person there wanting to lose some weight.. That's pretty much what its for?

There's also groups ect.. if you really cant think of anything else.

Goodluck tho

A workout schedule is a good start to losing weight but the biggest change you will need to do is your eating habits. What somebody eats on a daily schedule is one of the biggest factors in whether somebody is in or out of shape.
