I had ADHD when i was younger 8-14
*would be a hyperactive little shit wanting to cause mayhem when i got angry but for the past few years i just dont care anymore about anything too chilled out (but when I get pissed of people will know)
But when my mates that take there "ADHD medication" they would just be chilled the hole day when normally we would be hyped to do shit.

- low attention span ( in some activities at school but I show it both at home and school + in sports )

- unable to sleep ( can't stop moving my legs and feet when laying down for some reason I get a tingly feeling when I try to stop )

- short term memory

- excessive talking

- fidgety - hyper for no reason ( I can get 1 hour of sleep for school and still want to go running around in gym )

- depressed ( sometimes )

- feeling like Im not working to my full potential

- irratated easily

- sometimes can't focus on enjoyable activities either ( Xbox, basketball, tv, etc)

It's not a lie ..

The symptons are real, the lie is about the medication.

I don't think it's a lie.

I work with ADHD kids and let me tell you the classroom goes nuts if that one kid is off his/her meds. With that said, I agree with Sanctyy in the fact that Ritalin and Adderall is given out like it's nothing to kids that might have not have it or have a mild case of ADHD.

If a kid is misbehaving, the teacher will not have enough time to discipline them since he/she have so many other students to teach.

The medications for ADHD is just a way to temporarily solve the problem but in my opinion, it isn't the permanent fix.

This is an interesting topic to discuss.

_Tactical_ wrote I have ADHD. I act like I'm high when I'm not on my medication and normal when I am. Its real. You doze off a lot if untreated

I'm not sure you've ever been high. If anything, ADHD medication makes me high.
