At college we download Google Chrome and then go onto the chrome web store and download "Proxy Helper" which can be seen here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Wait until that has installed and then open a new tab and click 'Auto' then you are able to access anything.

I just go on google chrome, as they block and monitor on safari
