Lawlllll the "guy gets stuck in the money pit" ahahaha mind you that is definitely not true. A tux rental is soooo much cheaper than a dress, and uaually ita always a good idea for one person to buy flowers and other to buy tickets.

My prom last year my date bought myticket and I bought the flowers my dress was close to $500 I recycled shoes and dis my own hair or that would of coat another 100+. Then bought myself a cedar point ticket and that expense. So I think it is the female who spends more XD. Usually by choice but still.

Also any discounts on tuxedos is great not everyone can afford them and im sure this wilp help.

I will agree that it's expensive both ways. But at my school the guy has to pay for the tux, the tickets, the dinner, and the party bus. The party bus always seems to make you run another $70-$80 but it is well worth it imo. Very fun experience.
