Money glitch question

So I done the glitch with my zentorno and it worked fine but then I realised I could not sell it so I've tried with a few other cars, but now everytime after I shoot the car until it's on fire and quickly get in it then back out, when I jump into the car I'm trying to duplicate it won't spawn me in the garage it just chucks me back out of the car, I've watched the video several times and I'm not doing anything wrong, just wondering whether there are certain cars to do this glitch with?

Seems like you are pressing an extra Y after you get out of the car. I've had this happen a couple times and I just got back into the car to be duped and the glitch completed normally

I've just tried it again a few times and it's still happening and I've made sure I press Y once, it just spawns me outside of the car instead of inside the garage
