EDIT: Let just say the biggest country to convince or worse yet, say no, would be the USA, I believe.
Won't happen anytime soon. I could see another 30 years where this maybe STARTS to be developed, but finished...that's another story. As America, we have a very strategic position in the world. We are surrounded by basically Canada and Mexico. In a military view-point I believe a highway would weaken our situation, and also cause much unwanted immigration issues with the whole world.

Pros:
Travel Basically Anywhere, BY CAR
MILLIONS OF JOBS

Cons:
Terrorism Could Rise
Country Defense could be tougher
Immigration
Oil Price would most likely go up, due to more demand
Car Mechanic price might go up, due to people taking very long road trips


I don't know give me pros and cons and what you guys think. I see more cons then pros, but thats my views, help me out.

It isn't dumb, it is a very plausible idea. Yes, they are dumb if they think "oh russia wants this for war." But yes, this can help a lot of countries go to war with a lot of other countries. Specifically USA with other countries, because only 2 and maybe a territory, have road ways directly to USA. Other countries, have many surrounding them. So again, it is a valid reason but for the wrong thoughts that people say.

People are so dumb. Its a high way. Not a door that Russia can send troops through and they magically appear in America. Every country would just have check points where you would be checked for guns and or explosives. Same as they do already. This would be an amazing thing for everyone, but it probably would become a place for robbery's and or terrorist attracts.

Exactly, I believe the road would actually help the relationship between the US & Russia and the EU & Russia.

If this happened id be the happiest lad alive, i hate planes with a passion.
