So I'm trying to play the FUT Birthday Cup and I notice that it's World Class difficulty but I want to give it a try and I know it's going to be a challenge because I usually play professional difficulty in most game modes. So I go in with quite a good team (82 rated, 100 chem), Gervinho, Doumbia and Biabiany upfront (Which is 90+ pace each) and with upgraded Handanovic (Who is usually OP). I start to play and I soon start to realize why I never play on World Class. (Enjoy the following rant )

1. The refs are extremely in favour of the AI, they will call a foul at almost any of my tackles (standing or sliding). if they are not perfectly timed, even if there is virtually no contact, I get fouled. If the AI pushes me off the ball inside their box, so much that I fall, no foul. And when they do commit fouls that get noticed, the ref plays the f**king advantage!

2. Since the AI start with the ball, every game I've played they've managed to score before I've even touched the ball because they have OP passing and my team can't mark. If I tried to mark with my player, to try and stop their passes then they wouldn't pass and they would just dribble into the box and score. And if I attempt to approach them then they just pass to an unmarked player because my team won't mark them.

3. My goalkeeper always seem to run out too far to the ball when there is multiple of the opposition unmarked inside or just out of the box. He also can't save any shots on target, he literally stands still for the majority of them or sticks his leg out too far and gets pegged, Yes, pegged! An 84 rated goalkeeper, pegged! *facepalm*

4. My players won't move up far enough even when in attacking and I have 1 of my players vs the whole defense of the other team and because they are so accurate with their tackles then I obviously lose the ball. Or even if I get a really good pass where I've beaten all the defenders and I'm being chased by a defender, he somehow manages to always catch me... a defender catching a forward with 90+ pace... LEGIT!

RANT OVER!

What do you guys think of World Class difficulty, I simply have to say that it's Bullshit. Do you even go near it or are you used to playing against that level of AI?

trick is to put the game speed on fast when you have a pace team, get 1/2 quick goals then just try play bit more defensive, try avoid to slide tackle a lot and always try play the ball out wide its so hard to play it through the middle without going over the top all the time.

also i always play attacking if I'm not winning then i change to defensive or balance when i have the lead also counter attack or long ball are good against the computer as your players make lots of runs, and possession is decent to because your players move into space where they can receive a good pass from you.

just keep going keep trying!

Yeah the AI is pretty hard this year but just keep trying and you will get used to the gameplay and eventually win the cup.

I spent an hour and a half trying to win the tournament on offline mode. The referee made such horrible calls and the computers made the most bullsh*t goals. Annoyed the hell out of me.

The trick is to just admit defeat and play online.

Real players are much more easy to predict and surprisingly, less bs occurs
