Well my rgh got rrod because I made a rookie mistake when updating my nand and I mixed up my files.. And now that rgh was unfixable.. I couldn't even boot into xell.. But anyways.. I opened my rgh and the jr coolrunner was still installed.. And I was wondering if I could use that chip to configure another rgh I am planning on making myself.. But can I use the same chip?

You should be able to use the same chip, not 100% sure though because I have never done it.

Yeah you would need to do that in order to RGH anyway, the question is if he can use his coolrunner chip he already has. Which he should be able to do pretty easily.

DO not attempt to remove the chip i can fix this easily

if it was just an update issue then i can fix it you people need to realize taking it apart can damage the console by removing the chip , you can take a chance on tearing a trace and trying to reprogram the coolrunner they all can be different from trinitys to rgh2 phat consoles there are certain components i remove for better boot times there for things will not work on other consoles

contact me asap also you should of read this for professional information
