You just need to remember that it's there rep and its up to them on how they use it if it's got good or bad but I understand it's annoying but they mostly do it to get faster replied but also people need to remember rep is a number and does not make you any better then someone with 0 rep.

It's just rep. It's a number on a website, it's no big deal tbh. Sure, people do try to entice users with "+rep" to get a faster response, it happens, but you kind of just have to deal with it? Unfortunately, if it truly bothers you, then, that's just tough luck. If someone says they're going to rep someone else for helping, then they should do it, but they don't have to. Personally, I try to help users with problems, whether they're offering rep or not, just because I like to help out where I can.

Like people have stated it they use it to grab your attention. I don't even remember the last time I was rep
