Latency wrote Let me shut you down real quick.

You joined 10 days ago. You have 212 posts.

I joined almost 4 years ago and only have 1,800 posts. I'm active, but I don't post a lot.

You don't need to post to be active. I hang out in the shoutbox and post on things that I think I should post on or try to be helpful.

Quit complaining. It's not your money so don't tell people how to spend it.

Very true but i think he means people who joined and hardly come online

i will agree with you, but also YOU did just join 10 days ago, yeah you have 200 posts but you haven't really been around long so you don't have much say. No offense. But yeah it does get annoying.

I agree you should need a certain amount of posts to enter giveaways and be active unless you buy it yourself

You guys are forgetting. Some people may be aged 14 (Like me) meaning they are unable to purchase gold for themselves or other people. They also cannot do giveaways on paypal such as 704 or 100$.

But I 100% agree with the people who post around 10 times and ask for gold for a 'new experience' however again, take me for instance. I have around 450 posts with two years experience. I took a years break from everything (PC, XBOX, PS) In order to spend time on my school work for GCSE's.

Meaning I averaged around a 1-2 post per day over a year. You may believe, 'Oh I have been here for two weeks and had 150 posts' It doesn't mean anything because after a month or two you may quit entirely, you may need a break, overdoing it does cause problems with how fun you find these forums, meaning the people who blitz up to 400 posts in a week will most likely have left by the end of the month.

Anywho, rant over. Just saying, some points I agree with but some points can be explained.

I agree

$5.97 is not a lot for gold
Why don't they just buy their own gold

I agree, I mean the members that have 15 post and spam the giveaway threads or the ones who join "today" and they PM you begging you for gold. And when you say no "But you gave so and so gold"... Well they either earned it or then won one of the giveaway's and then they claim your a "dick" bc you wont gift them gold...

ive had gold for 3months now and the first time i got it was when i won a gold give-away and from then on i got my-self known and now i havent paid for gold in 4 months and i havent even asked anyone for it

i agree when they have a low post count and message a gold gifter but what they dont know is that they have to pay to give that user gold and they dont seem to understand that
Exactly man!
I just saw a post in a giveaway and has 300 post and been here over a year and claiming hes active and really wants to change his name... Ive been here for a week or so and Im half way to his acct and bought myself gold and I have gifted 3 users so far...

Quality > quantity.

It doesn't matter how long somebody has been a part of the website, or how many posts they have so long as the posts that they have made a positive contribution to the subject which they are discussing. A user could have one post all time but it could also be one of the most helpful posts on TTG.

I totally agree with you, but if all of your post are like in a modding forum asking people to invite you to modded lobby's and that sort of stuff then that's what I'm talking about, if your helpful and contribute then I agree 100% with what you just said.
