I'm not huge into the youtube scene anymore but I remeber the blue yeti and the blue snowball being a solid choice of a mic back in the day. So when I got into PC gaming on got a Blue Yeti, I love it. No complaints, nothing has gone wrong with it and its VERY clear. I do realize this is the mic that your gave as an example but that is the mic I recommend to everyone that is asking about mic.

That is, if you're using it for commentary, if its for music or something I don't think the yeti would be your best choice.

I use the blue snowball. You can usually get it on sale for a decent price if you shop around or wait for a deal.

I use a pop filter and a mic stand to keep it off my desk (you may get vibrations from keystrokes etc.)

If you want to hear what it sounds like you can check out one of my videos, or just take my word for it that its great!

Also, I dropped the mic on accident one day and it still works fine.

I use the "Blue Snowball" picked it up of eBay for around $44.

Definitely the 2nd best in my opinion for a microphone.
Not too pricey either.
