Hey everyone, Ill try to explain this the best I can.

Im having this issue with either; My xbox, router or internet provider. Basically what happens is I can join a lobby (GTAV) and be in the game for about 10-15 minutes then I completely lose connection. If I am playing Forza 4 then I cant even join a lobby withou trying to join 10-15 times. My laptop also does the same thing. 15-20 minutes browsing then it disconnect's

Any advice?

Location: UK
Internet Provider: TalkTalk
Internet MBPS: 12.3

I have never had any problems like that and am not familiar with the company, but my first guess would be either the modem or router Is not functioning properly. Something Is cutting your connection, hook up one of the devices to the router with an ethernet cable and see if you have the same problem, if you do than It has something to do with the wireless adapter within the router I would think. I just went through a lot of router problems so I understand the frustration lol

Thanks for the reply, My xbox is running through a ethernet cable. I think I may order a new modem and see if the problem persists

Ah you must likely have the talktalk dsl 3680 I have that and had the same problems you had when I got the Modem. You need to set up a static nat and you won't disconnect anymore I will post a link on how to set up a static nat properly. The link provided all you need is to setup static nat.

You just told us your problem. Talk Talk is a notorious company for terrible customer service and the internet service itself. I am not from the UK, but this comes from all the experience I have from TTG. I think switching to BT would be a better in the long run. That's my opinion, you do what you feel is necessary. Ciao.

I think it's just the the internet itself. I myself have recently switched from TalkTalk to Sky and damn... TalkTalk is awful in comparison to other internet providers (from my experience.)
