Haha, I don't quite understand.
I just thought it would be cool to see the whole book design, set out flat like this example:

If you were to do this, it would be suitable for printing. You could also do a mock-up to see what it would look like on the shelf.

I was thinking you meant like a spine (bones) into the design.
