BFvsCOD wrote When ever I play CS:GO I always get wrecked by people using the p2000 and the AK, and they're not even crouching, literally right as I turn a corner they turn all the way around and 1 shot me in a half second... I'm not accusing but it just doesn't seem humanly possible to do that even if you're listening to your surroundings
maybe you just suck at the game homie

A few things about CS:GO

It is a very sound heavy game. Most people who play have headphones on and they aren't listening to music or on skype or anything. If you are in a quiet room and focus on the game and listen carefully, you can hear an enemy coming from any direction way before you actually come in contact with them.

Most people like to play the game on a low resolution (e.g. 1280x720 or 800x600) which makes the gameplay of the mouse feel more controllable and it will feel easier to put your crosshair on the enemy. Plus that adds an FPS boost because there are less pixels.

Feel free to test these out and hopefully it will make your gameplay more enjoyable

Protip: Hold SHIFT down whenever you are going around corners / approaching an enemy. It allows you to walk without the other player hearing your footsteps (thus giving you an advantage).

Also, do some practices with bots. Set them all to T whilst you play CT, try and get headshots only, or improve your reflexes.

Other than that, I've had games where I come out with 26 kills and 3 deaths, and some I come out with 3 kills and 9 deaths. It all depends on the people you're playing with really. I usually play on FragMasters, but the skill range of some players there is insane. Just think, if a player is hacking, they'll be VAC banned within the same game.

You don't have to always crouch to kill someone, most lucky shots come from 1 taps. You should also not run around the map so much as it gives away your position and the other team can get to a better place to kill you, I would also recommend playing Deathmatch to practice aiming and when to spray and not.

Because people know how to aim better than you do?

Or, they're actually using aimbot.

Crouching round a corner is a very bad idea. It means that your body peaks before your gun does, meaning the enemy can see and shoot you before you have a chance to shoot them. The best way to go round a corner would be to get your crosshair placement right (Keeping it at head level and aiming it at a place where you expect them to be) and walk round at normal pace. This is advice I have gotten from a DMG and it definitely works.

But he didn't say anything about crouching. He said holding shift allows you to walk silently. You should read the comments properly before replying to them.

Never hold shift down when you go round a corner, you walk slower with it.
