A 85 year old or so woman my grandma worked with in a factory a long time ago, had this tv in her home since 2012 until it quit working recently. She couldn't find anyone to fix it nor could my grandma and grandpa. They were trying to find someone instead of paying an outrageous price to fix it at a repair shop. I told them I could take a look at it for her so they called her. The woman said that she had already bought a new one and didn't really wanna mess with this one. I told her I could still take a look at it so she could maybe sell it to make some of her money back but she wouldn't let me. She said "if you are wanting to try and fix it, you can have it." So about 5 minutes after she said that I was already on the way to the her house. Took it apart and did some research and concluded for now that the SS board will need replaced then I will have to go from there. There's the story behind that lol. Perfect TV just a blown circuit board that I found on eBay for $35. so I guess I paid $35 for a $800 TV.
But thats my luck for today lol.

Put it on craigslist for half of what it's worth, or however much you can get out of it that "sounds" reasonable. Believe me, people on Craigslist will buy anything I put AW on there for $40 and got 20 offers in 3 days lol

That's what I was thinking my best bet was. Like you said people will go crazy over it.
