Working on a small person project to pass time and looking for suggestions and some feedback regarding it.

Any feedback really is appreciated!

Also, having trouble thinking of how I could transition from navbar to main body. Should there be an image like sideshow just below the navbar (cycling through featured info)

I personally love the top top navigation bar, looks so slick. Excited to see what the future holds for the site.

I like the colors a lot, i would like to see the the text a little smaller and not bolded. Images should be somewhat smaller as well. Good Job though.

8/10

Very sleek and simple design, I really like the color scheme on it! I prefer simple/clean looking things to cluttered and over done things!

I really like the colors on it, the blend well and match, the font is also very simple and easy to read as well!

I really like it!

My only concern is that some of the icons look like the aspect ratio was squished.

Hold shift when scaling images and such to keep the correct aspect ratio.

Besides the non properly scaled icons the layout seems a bit too cluttered with text.
Perhaps a couple of bullet points would better fit the space without appearing cluttered.
The login/regiter area could use some work as well, it appears to float there a bit out of place.
As you said you are having a hard time transitioning this into the full website,
if you would like I would be willing to collaborate a site design with you.

these icons are only placeholders, until i manage to get illustrator downloaded and do my own ones to size - but they're kinda an idea of what will be there if you know what i mean.
