There's been clues left for us in the television we watch.
Richard Belzer plays a character named John Munch who has been a detective that believes in all these "crazy" conspiracy theories. He's been on a bunch of shows w/ the same character. He was in Homicide: Life on the Street, X-Files, The Wire, Law & Order SVU, all playing the same character, meaning those universes connect.
But Homicide also crossed over with a show called St. Elsewhere. When St. Elsewhere was ending, the whole show zoomed out and it was all happening inside the mind of an autistic child who was staring at a snow globe.
But here's where it gets interesting. X-Files also did a cross over with a reality show called COPS. And Cops happens here, in our world.
Ironically enough, David Duchovny also does a show called Californication. And his ex-wife is the same woman who was trying to tell Truman about being in a show in The Truman Show.
It all connects, the clues are there.
