I used Artic Silver 5 and put about 3 uncooked grains of rice worth of paste just to be safe. How much did you guys use?

i guess using your comparison i used 1 grain of rice worth. less is more with this stuff. cause it doesnt dissipate heat very good if you put to much your just going to fry your chip

When I was doing xbox repairs I would use about the size of a small pea and spread it out across the processor with a card or something. It did the job.
3 rice grain sized drops might be a little too much.

I had sizing wrong it was abotu a grain of rice

If you search the web your only suppose to put a thin film over the top of each chip i have had great success with this and lower temps and repaired over 250 consoles in the past 3 years. I stopped repairing them due to i just do not have the time anymore for repairs many other things have came along since then
