I've been a member for 5 years, this year will be my 6th. I have less posts and activity than most people who've been here less than 2 or 3 years.

I don't feel the need to post on or about everything, and I don't see it is a "lack of effort."

I enjoy coming to this site to read news articles, see what others are talking about and occasionally throw my two cents in.

Why does it matter to you how active another member is? Shouldn't you be concerned with yourself?

Some people who have thousands of posts look how often the post in the mile stones and introduce yourselves forums those little posts that consist of a little over 20 characters add up over time some people get too busy and forget about ttg and don't post for a while like me I was so busy with school and sports I forgot but I know what you mean with like 5-6 year members who only have like 200 posts that's a bit ridiculous

I think almost every member that commented on this topic has spread their point across.

Just because a 5 year member may have 500 posts, it doesn't mean those 500 posts haven't been made with effort. Nowadays, I normally just post on topics that I can help with or that interest me (because of school, basketball and stuff). Anyway like a lot of members said ----> Quality > Quantity

And I'm not saying I am, but don't think you are some hot stuff just because you got 500 posts in under a year

Most of those users don't really post on the site and look for modded lobbies.
However, there are plenty of users with low posts that have been on the site from the start. They're often the most helpful too.

XeKevin wrote Okay I've recently seen a lot of people that are like 1-5Year members but only have less posts then i do like i don't get it. Why be a member for over years but only post so little?

Because people have lives.

A lot of them are inactive for long periods of time. When they come back, they realize they are 5 year members and post a milestone about it as if they were here for the entire 5 years.

Seeing that I am included in the "people who don't put in effort" I will actually post.

A lot of the time I do browse the forum and just "see whats up" around the community. If I see something I know about or know I could help with, I would post. Sometimes I only check news, sometimes I only check for lobbies.

These type of post aren't my type of thing, this is the kind of topic I would usually look and see what kind of responses people give.

TL;DR: I watch and post when I know it would be constructive or helpful. or... ya know, for a lobby (which they usually never invite when they say they will)

I mean some people have some rough times through there life or some people just got there account back. You dont really know what has happened to other people so I cant judge them. Some people maybe just not into the posting scene
