It's not bad..I'm on my Schools Web Team(I run the school website.)
The only things I really don't like would be the Search bar(It looks like you're going for a Portfolio type site and they don't need a Search bar. Also, the WEBSITE.ninja in the Banner/Logo area doesn't fit with design. Unless you do add a logo or full on banner, I say get rid of it.
