How did you receive the vac ban?

I was stupid and turned on a triggerbot for a second in a server. I never even got a kill with it but I guess the system detected it. :/

Your own fault. Well atleast it wasn't something like a Karambit or Bayonet then you would have lost a lot of money.

Thats how everyone who uses these cheats/hacks/etc.. are treated. The same. Some don't get bannned instantly but all get VAC banned eventually. The same as you did. Even if you didn't mean to on the public server you still had it on. Which means you are a cheater.

Yeah, I am actually pretty happy I got banned after I sold my M9 Bayonet Slaughter | Factory New. Just imagine that...

That's part of the punishment, anything you bought for the game is forfeit. Similar to Xbox Lives banning system. By playing you accept the Terms and Conditions.
