It depends on the features you want it to have for example do you want to SLI the 970's?
Also we will need you to provide a budget

Contact the board manufacturer and explain that your mb broke, should be able to RMA it if it was not your fault. Otherwise, need a budget and what you want from a motherboard.

Well i'm just using it for gaming, possibly some video editing.

Budget of say $250 AUD little bit of leeway on that though. Don't mind spending a bit extra for a better board as long as it doesn't crap out on me

Alrighty sweet thanks.

Does everything in my build look okay?

I think the MoBo is the problem, because the PC boots but then turns off after a couple seconds, it's either MoBo or PSU i think?

Can you get into the BIOS / or does it POST?

Have you booted into Windows before?

I haven't built it myself, a family friend who works for a computer building company has built it for me and has let me know that from what he has seen it's either the MoBo or the PSU that's buggered up.

From what he has told (I haven't been in good contact as we both work at the same time) It boots up for 2-5 seconds then shuts off again. He is running some more tests and will let me know tomorrow but he thinks it's the MoBo

I can't imagine the PSU being the issue, but you never know. It sounds like the motherboard is most likely the issue.

This may sound dumb, but try resetting the CMOS. My PC has done this after I misconfigured something in the BIOS.
