It's evident you're a low rank or you wouldn't be upset about smurfing... smurfing at high ranks literally makes no difference as there isn't a hug skill gap.

Some people smurf because they're banned of CSGO, That's the only reason I do it. And I'm shit anyway, so I wont be playing in a different league!

to clarify i play at a nova 2-3 level im not bad but im not good, doesn't change why you shouldn't be smurfing lol

I'm MGE and smurfing is the only way I can play with a friend who is silver 4, We don't have 5 to go together.

I didn't mind going against smurfs while I was lower, still don't mind it. I play ranked to improve (unless playing with said friend) and playing against someone who is better than you is just a quicker way of improving.

IMO if you can't handle playing against people who are better then don't play competitive or csgo as a whole. Smurfs are in nearly every game, no idea why people seem to dislike it so much more in CSGO.

Many people have friends of lower ranks than them and can't play with them.
Instead of complaining about smurfing you could instead try and learn from playing with them.

I'm not too bothered with people smurfing, because to me, I see it as a little "test" to see how I fair against people with a higher level/skill at the game, whether I win or lose, it gives me a good idea of where I'm at and how I could possibly adapt my play style. The only time I have a problem with smurfing, is when they deny it and go out of their way to try and bash everyone in that server. I myself don't have a smurf as I tend to play with the same group of people who are sitting at the Nova 1 and up area, but if I were to have a smurf, it would be for if I was going to solo queue, maybe for playing with friends who are just getting into CS:GO.

That's exactly what I think. Instead of complaining, use the smurf to learn and play better.
I also find challenges fun sometimes instead of always playing with someone of the same skill level as me

In my opinion smurfing isn't all that bad. It's used to play with friends of a lower rank, if using another account just to smurf is pretty dumb.
