I was wondering if there is any way you can unlock your phone through Cydia. I know there was one in the past but is there still a way that works?

As far as I know there is no way to unlock your phone via Cydia. I could be wrong, so I am sorry if I told you wrong information but I am fairly sure that there is NO way to unlock your device via Cydia as of now or ever.
