I don't understand why people still want to go on to multiplayer and abuse infections. It's a 6 year old game. What benefits do you gain from being max level and flying around with god mode? Why do that when you have every single thing unlocked in the game? It makes no sense.

Having infections does not make you a hacker. So many kid who get infected thinking they're bigshot hackers. Great you got infected on one of the most exploitable games ever. You definitely can hack my account.

I can't even play Zombies either. It's impossible to play a full session with 4 players without some kid leaving the game because no modder was in it.

You know what's even more frustrating? Reporting and avoiding solves nothing. XBL does nothing about WaW. The same goes for CoD 4.

I have the same problem as you. Both of those games are like that all the time. I dont see the point of it no more either. Maybe back in the day it was kinda fun but now its just annoying. I also agree with the kids with the infections thinking their hackers. Its funny because they really do. I would just like to get back to gaming with no modding going on it.

Well reading your whole post here, but I'm going to clear one thing. You do actually get banned just not at the rate you hope. I have been banned permanently for infections on the game. Reporting will do something. Just slowly.

While I haven't played WaW on consoles in a long time, I remember a few people telling me they cleaned it up for once, but I'm assuming they either didn't or it didn't last long at all.

I respect the modding community, but I agree it has gone way to far on W@W and COD4. It's ridiculous. I bet if you first start playing the game now, you will get max prestige and all challenges unlocked the first game you get into. And the modding community is growing stronger everyday.

Mostly everyone ends up banned anyway.

I hate when people ruin games, old games are no exception and it does make no sense at all. As a modder myself I dont even get the point of ruining the experience for other people who just want to play the game how it was intended to be played. The root of the problem for me is the modders who infect all the wanna be hackers in the first place, there's no point.

It will be better if they released CoD4, CoD WaW, and Mw2 "remastered" on the new gen consoles so there wouldn't be any hackers at all.

You summed it up right there in the red. The game is six years old, if you are not max prestige legit by now, you played the game wrong.

Anyways, modding made this website what it is today. Mods don't really bother me and I do not use them online, only in private matches and what not. If you do not like it, do not play the game.

Your problem is trying to play ranked on cod4. My friends and I scrim with full games of 18 on s&d all the time. If you have infections you get kicked. That simple. Decent amount of people still play fair. You may not be ranking up but who cares. Infect yourself get 10th unlock all and then use the good weapons in scrim. It's always really fun.

Mods for WAW can legit be downloaded to a usb, then the kids who use them threaten to hack your account
