So i just thought i would complain really.

Firstly about buying coins and the price of them:
I wont pretend to have any idea how the coin farming accounts work and how the coin sellers have so many coins to sell for so cheap. But it is getting ridiculous.
I'm not going to sit here and lie and say i play the game 100% legit and never buy coins, because every now and then i buy some. But i mean i buy maybe 1 million a month and most of that goes on packs anyway, so i never really have stupidly expensive players. I like to think thats what most people are like on fifa at least on here anyway but it has reached a stage now where they are so cheap that everybody has 10 million coin teams.
That doesnt bother me, i like coming up against good teams because the people using them are usually quite bad at fifa. What bothers me is the affect it has had on the market.
Thankfully i haven't really played fifa recently as im preparing for exams so i kept hold of my players while i did and its a good job otherwise i would never afford to buy them back now.
The fact that my Bale is worth over 1 million now (PS4) should be a good thing for me but frankly its just ridiculous.

But the thing is i don't even blame people for buying coins. (I wish the coinsellers would increase their prices so people don't do it as much) but still i dont blame the buyers.
Who wouldn't buy coins when for the price of 8 you can get 1 million coins (PS4).
Lets face it the only real way players are brought into the market place are by buying them out of packs, so people need to buy packs for the game to survive.

BUT, and this is a massive flaw in EA, why would anybody be dumb enough to spend Fifa Points on packs.
Lets work it out:
Rare gold pack = 7500 coins / 150 fifa points (i think)

150 fifa points = roughly 1.30-1.50 (i think)
So if you spend 8 on packs legitimately you will get about 5-6 packs.

Whereas 1'000'000 coins costs 8.
1'000'000 / 7'500 = 133.3
So if you buy packs with coins for the same price you can open 133 packs.

Don't know about you but i would much rather have 133 packs than 6.
Surely EA can't wonder why people stray to the dark side when they charge such extortionate prices.
But then lets look at it like this, if you play fifa legitimately and buy packs with coins, in the lower 5-6 divisions one pack wipes out your entire season earning.
And considering the stupidly low pull rate of half decent players, there is no point.

EA need to seriously rethink the prices of their packs if they ever want to stop the problem of coin selling.

Rant over

I have actually never bought coins.. This is why I hate coming up against these expensive BPL gems all the time, I don't do any cheating and play the game legitimately but it just isn't enough because people feel the need to buy coins than just buy packs or trade.

I think personally EA should bring the hammer down and not be so light with coin buying. Then make FIFA points cheaper. Now after me saying this, we will have "EA Just want o make money, scum" of course they do, what business doesn't want to make money so you can get away if you are going to say that.

Like i say, im no saint i do occassionally buy coins, but i don't then make stupid teams with it and go online, honestly about 90% of my games have been on play a frind seasons, i just buy them to compete with my friends. But even for buying the 2 millions coins i have i wish i would get some sort of warning message just to show EA are doing anything.

Its actually comical how they made such a big deal out of their banning system and im yet to come across even a single person who has had so much as a warning message.

I have genuine sympathy for people like you who play it legitimately because all i can think is since coins sellers properly came onto the scene a few years ago fifa has been in a downward spiral.
Its at a stage where every team costs less than 200k or upwards of 2 million, it's like there is no middle ground.

Thing is though, you have much better odds at getting better players with fifa points, oppose to buying packs with coins. They have disguised how good they are at taking your money.

Its a good chance that the fifa coin sellers are part of ea anyway..

Yeah it's a huge problem, it seems like from what people are saying is you get a warning if you buy from MMOGA because they use a bot or something, not sure if that is true or not? I have no clue. But it's annoying for people like me that have like never had over 500k.. And everything is so damn expensive because of coin buying/selling but like you, I don't blame people for buying coins.

Honestly i think most people try to play legitimately they just reach a point where its too difficult/stressful to compete with other people so they have no choice. Maybe we should all just play PES haha

+ Starlet do you have any proof of that because i've always been a strong believer that that is just a rumour. I have opened packs legit before and my luck has been no better, if not worse than when i do with coins.

I can see why people prefer buying coins as its an alternative to fifa points which are so expensive you get 12000 fifa points for round about 80 GBP and would be lucky if you make 500k off that and for 15 GBP you can get 1m

I've come to the conclusion they should just get rid of the web app. If they do that they block all coin farming bots at once.
Or they should kick the web app offline for a couple minutes every half an hour or so just to boot the bots out.

I know it would be a step backwards for ultimate team if they got rid of the web app, but it really would stop the coin selling problem 99%.

Personally i'd rather have a fair game than a web app.

I am fairly certain that coin sites have a way of maintaining coins even when the web app is down? I heard somewhere that they know a way to glitch the system or something but I highly doubt it anyway but taking down the web app would only make it so there is a limited supply of coins(ones all the bot accounts hold right now which could be billions)
