I'm new to pc and I don't know if I'm using my onboard graphics or my graphics card? Is there anyway to tell?

It probably sounds like a stupid question but I'm new to pc and don't have much of an idea. Thanks for the help

If your monitor is plugged into your mobo you are using on board if it plugged into your graphics card then you are using your graphics card.
